Abstract. 

(a) H2O = H2 + 0.5 O2 - 286 kJ / 0.9 = 320 kJ; 

(b) CO2 + H2 = CO2H2 + 32 kJ; 

(c) CO2H2 = CO + H2O - 29 kJ; and totally 

320 +  32  -29  = 397 kJ vs.- 283 kJ if  CO2 = CO  + 0.5 O2. 

So my technology is 283 /320 = 87% energy effective.
