a) CO2 = CO + 0.5 O2 – 283 KJ [1].

b) CO2 = 1144 kwh / ton * USD 0.004/ kwh = USD 4.5 / ton CO2; [2]. [3]. [4], [5]. CO = 4.5 * 44 / 28 = USD 7.0 / ton CO, 283,000 KJ * USD 0.004 / 3.6 / 28 = USD 11.3, and totally 7 + 11.3 = UD 18.3/ ton CO.

c) CO  + H2O = H2 + CO2 -3 KJ -negligible, and hydrogen is free, if costs CO (mol) = < CO2 (mol), 😉

 CO2 * 44 > = 18.3 * 28, or CO2 >= USD 11.5 here.

d) CO2 + 4 * H2 = CH4 + 2 H2O + 254 KJ, so CH4 = USD 4.5 * 44 /16 = USD 12.5 minus

254,000 * 0.25 efficiency heat in electricity * USD 0.05/kwh as local tariff / (3.6 * 16) = USD 55/ton CH4,

And totally 55 – 12.5 = 43.5 / ton CH4 is a net profit. can be invested exponentially for new buildings to reach energy independency from hostile exporters. Moreover, such fuels can use the existing fuels infrastructure for energy supply for consumers at any designed schedule. The said system can be disintegrated down to local consumers as a local supply, being importantly for war times and against terrorist attacks. 

No now sore unsolvable problem to integrate solar and wind in national grids.

Oil and carbon would be free too.
